Kaelan is 16. Not long ago, he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour — the kind of news no family is ever ready to hear.
He's nearing the end of his chemotherapy at CHEO in Ottawa. The next step in his journey is specialized radiation therapy in Jacksonville, Florida — treatment that isn't available here in Canada.
Here's the part where you come in. OHIP covers the treatment itself — but not the rest. Kaelan's parents, Jaimie and Martin, will be in Florida for roughly 6–8 weeks: accommodations, meals, transportation, and lost income while they're away from work, none of it covered. Those costs land squarely on the family, at the hardest possible time.
Every dollar raised goes directly to them — so they can focus on the only thing that matters: being at Kaelan's side.

Les parents de Kaelan, Jaimie et Martin, seront en Floride pendant environ 6 à 8 semaines : hébergement, repas, transport et perte de revenus pendant leur absence du travail, rien de tout cela n'est couvert. Ces frais retombent entièrement sur la famille, au pire moment possible.
Chaque dollar amassé leur est remis directement — pour qu'ils puissent se concentrer sur la seule chose qui compte : être aux côtés de Kaelan.
